I've known this for awhile, since at least 2020. Specifically when they told a documentarian he could film and then threatened litigation if he released his film — after he had already shot it. He had to painstakingly blur literally all Burning Man footage except for the guy he's following around.



It's probably a liability from the nudity. Someone says "that's me! I didn't consent to my naked body being posted on the Internet!". Even if it was incidental, but if it was allowed, it would bring about a bunch of perverts a-la "girls done wild: burning man '26".
