I am writing a book about my experiences starting and maintaining a largish open source project and I'm thinking about trying to have it published. Any tips on who to pursue a deal with or things to watch out for? I don't care if it makes a single cent or not. I'm writing the book for the pure fun of it mostly but I guess it might look good on a resume too :shrug:.

I don't want to share the project details yet because its not ready to show off and I don't want to lose the motivation of a potential great release.

Other people are involved in the open source project but the book has no other people involved (yet).
