Oh never. I have 2 giant boxes of them. The absolute worst thing ever is when you need something like a USB or HDMI cable, and you're forced to spend like 40 bucks at Best Buy because you're in a pinch.

Saying someone is the opposite of Jim Cramer is basically saying they’re right.

It would be nice if I could upgrade my 16GB M2 MacBook Pro some time in this lifetime. This AI bullshit is getting annoying.

That's a sad thing to have to say, but yeah.

The wrong 80 year olds are dying right now. The grim reaper needs to work on his aim.

Conservative media even barely talks about DOGE because of how bad the optics are, and how much of an utter failure it was.

I've never met a "vibe coder" who has had a software engineering job.

I've gotten immense benefit from "guided coding". I've learned a lot, and it's saved me a lot of time digging through documentation. I also don't have anyone dictating to me how many tokens I should be burning, and I'm not forced to review my co-worker's 3000 line PR.

I agree with your last statement. Frontier models are nonsense. We should be concentrating on focused models that are cheap to run, and don't require destroying the SBC industry, and making my hobbies financially out of reach.

I can totally see where that could be the case. I'm sure there have been breakthroughs already, but it's not mainstream news. The mountain of AI slop is all over the mainstream though. You have to wonder why.
