Doesn’t really change it at all. Because there’s no copyright assignment, it’s not any different than any other open source project that doesn’t do it, there’s no ownership to actually move. It would just be about socially what is considered upstream.

Always possible there’s some buggy CSS compiler in the wild that ships a crazy rule and nobody tested in Firefox.

If suggestion algorithms cannot be swayed by payment, sponsorship etc., people will probably try to boost visibility via numbers (i.e. bots). I wonder whether such a website would benefit from the invite-only model of lobste.rs.

Probably. But my expectations for Firefox were much much higher, so the disappointment / surprise factor here is what’s so big for me, I guess

In my experience, you want "emacs-app", which is just upstream emacs compiled with Aqua support (https://github.com/macports/macports-ports/blob/81b99bcf7c59...) to avoid going through XQuartz.

Agreed! I've been building from source for now, and I can't wait to return to the MacPorts version as soon as it is available.

I just tested 31.1 with emacs-plus. Its not working and seeing lag without any custom config as well. Eglog is completely broken.
