That's simply not true.
Politicians have always known how to convince young men to go to war and die for them. Nothing is more selfless.
So politicians could also convince people to change their lifestyles for the worse to prevent catastrophe.
To be fair, often that convincing happened at gunpoint. I would want to live in a society that enforced climate action with weapons. But of course politicians could do a lot more to motivate climate action before guns would be needed.

Also the shorter the better, let the model figure out the rest. Overinstruction degrades intelligence. We tend to underestimate their capabilities, we overinstruct them and then complain about them being dumb.
There probably also won't be enough people to pay $30 per year to justify the salary of the people to maintain it. Microsoft tried that with Windows 10 and largely gave up outside of Corporations which they had by the gonads.
