Third-party calls won't eat into Apple's compute, so it's not entirely against the interests of Apple as they put caps on people's AI use.

Quite annoying that you need to get the top plan for 5 cameras, and you cannot get more.
I like tinkering with this stuff, everything around me is a perpetual lab, so I have more than 5 cameras that I'd like to hook up to this. But I REALLY don't NEED or WANT 12TB or storage.
I want all of these integrations to be possible locally, without having to send my data to the cloud.
But I cannot. A lot of these nice integrations aren't offered for fully-local setups.
I like Kagi, but is it me or have their results been less than great for the past 1-3mo? Maybe the places they're pulling their results from have had some changes?
That looks amazing! I've been thinking to move to Kobo as well with iBooks feeling like abandonware, and it's also been interesting to see community projects like Nico Verbruggen's typesetting fixes for ebooks[1][2].
Honestly, seeing your fixes and his, makes me more excited about potentially getting one with all the tuning possible.

Is "foo" part of "website" or is "foo" separate from other similar organizations? Subdomains you'd use maybe for a different department, but if it's the same department, prefer paths.
Basically signals how connected it'd be to the main org.
But all this is basically feelings and "common sense" rather than anything strictly specified. You'd be able to make use of foo.website.com as well as you'll be able to use website.com/foo in practice, very minutia detail.
Shame, because it's genuinely a great map - ahem, optimizations aside.
I remember giving the app a second chance - after assuming it to be bloatware next to all the other default apps that came with Windows - but after seeing it redeem itself in benchmarks[1], I gave it a shot and quite like it. The iOS app was too rubbish to bother with, though.
I'm curious what could options there are for decent predictions. Especially with Dark Sky never having been much of an option for Europe. I see some of the people behind it have a new subscription-based iOS app to try, though: https://acmeweather.com/app.
Do people have any desktop weather apps that strike a nice balance between decent code and actually useful predictions? Future weather's likely to be anything but boring, unfortunately.
I guess the only way to get or export your data is through the desktop client?
