Good job man, had a brief look around, looks swish. Hope to have a more in depth look a bit later on. One thing i did notice in your signup form for workers, i hit enter accidentally before filling out 1 field. This caused an error and i lost all the information i had previously entered. Barring password and perhaps username do you think that the form should reload the information if an error has occured? Something to consider perhaps when you have the time :P
Does anyone know how to display edge lines? I usually pass files through Code Sniffer before committing, so generally i try to keep lines 120 characters or less, seeing where that 120th character is; is really helpful.
I love the git package, superb. Managed to write a few custom commands to tweak things to suit my requirements, haven't tried that with any other editor / IDE :)
I would have liked the ability to change the line thickness, to work around you'd have to zoom out or in depending if you wanted a line thicker or thinner with the latter being particularly difficult as it's harder to keep track of where you are in relation to the rest of the page.
If it were me I would leave the teaching of Javascript and jQuery to later on after you've helped them build an application that works (i.e. after all the backend stuff is hooked up). I hope you find somewhere to get set up :)
It won't be anything too intense, just a couple of front-end tweaks to get peoples' feet wet and show them the power that jquery has. If all goes well, I could cover it more in depth in a later class.
